I am Professor at the Department of Psychology, Bishop’s University. Over the years I have studied emotion, cognition and brain function in various mental health problems, including psychosis, drug addiction, ADHD and autism. I have been also interested in the role of meditation, yoga and dance in mental health. I graduated from the Alternate Route offered by the National Centre for Dance Therapy in 2021 and I am currently pursuing training to lead groups and individuals in Authentic Movement. In my research and teaching I combine my long-standing passion for contemplative studies, neuroscience and creative arts. My favorite and most often practised dance forms include Butoh, Flamenco and different types of conscious dance.
