Jayeden (she/her) is a queer, neurodivergent circus artist with a specialty in aerial arts. She lives, plays, and creates in Toronto where she promotes inclusive movement and justice-focused arts through Rainbow Circus —a social circus initiative that offers programming from a trauma-informed, Queer, and Disability centered perspective.
Jayeden has been involved in circus for over a decade as a coach, professional circus artist, and performer. She believes that all bodies can access the power of movement in their own unique ways, and sees circus arts, dance, and expressive movement as tools to support that process.
She hold an honours BA in English and equity studies from the University of Toronto, and is currently working towards a diploma in dance movement therapy from Dance and Arts Therapy New Zealand.
